Fisher School Moves Little Knights Childcare into New Childcare Facility
Fisher, MN — It’s taken longer than anticipated, but the children of the Little Knights Childcare Center are finally moving out of the Fisher School and into their own dedicated space next door. The Fisher School offers year-round childcare for children ages six week to school age through their Little Knights Childcare program. A building next to the school was recently constructed to house the program, however delays in licensing and materials had put that facility on hold. In the meantime, the Little Knight Childcare has been operating out of the school building, but High School Principal Catherine Steinmetz reported this week on the Fisher School News that the Little Knights are making the move to the new facility this week.
Operating a childcare facility inside the school walls presented its challenges, according to Steinmetz, but childcare is an essential need for the community, and they are very pleased to be able to offer this new childcare center.
