Fosston, MN — The Fosston School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Thursday, September 15th. Fosston Superintendent Todd Selk reported that enrollment is up about 15 students and they are currently fully staffed at the moment. However, Selk says they will have an open position soon following the announcement that their long-time Building and Grounds Director will be retiring.

The Fosston School Board also certified their preliminary tax levy at last week’s meeting. Superintendent Selk explains that process.

And the Fosston School District is now preparing meals for new Prairie Pines Childcare Center. Selk says it’s something they are happy to help out with as eventually those kids will be students in the Fosston School District.

Next month’s Fosston School Board meeting has been moved from October 18th to October 27th.
