Fosston School Board Recap
Recapping the Fosston School Boards June 16th, 2022 meeting, Superintendent Sue Chase said in an interview the school board spent a good portion of the meeting discussing the need for an operating referendum. The district currently has one that is set to expire in two years.
The board will continue discussions regarding a referendum while seeking advice from their financial advisor.
The Fosston School Board heard reports during the meeting from both the elementary and high school principals regarding summer school programs that are currently being offered in both buildings.
The board set breakfast and lunch prices for the 2022-2023 school year aElementary Breakfast is $1.60 and High School is $1.75. Lunch for elementary students is $2.65 and High School Lunch is $2.85.
Also during their June 16th meeting, the Fosston School Board accepted with thanks for 31 1/2 years of service, the retirement of High School Media Coordinator Becky Anderson. They also accepted the retirement of Elementary Para Educator Jean Landsverk with thanks for 27 1/2 years of service.
