Fosston School District Welcomes News Superintendent
Fosston, MN — The new Superintendent of the Fosston School District joined the KKCQ Food for Thought Program this past Friday to continue his efforts to introduce himself to the community. Todd Selk took over for Sue Chase as the new head Administrator at the beginning of July. Selk says one his main goals to start off is to get know the people in the Fosston community.
Superintendent Selk, who has spent most of his life living and working in the Polk County area, also provided some more background on himself.
One of the biggest challenges in education these days, according to Selk, is being able to meet the social and emotional needs of students and always having to be able to adapt to make sure they are getting a proper education.
Previous Fosston Superintendent Sue Chase left the district to accept the Superintendent position in the Cass Lake-Bena School District.
