Freedom Christian Academy Hosting Breakfast on the Farm Fundraiser
McIntosh, MN — Enjoy breakfast on the farm this weekend and help support a new faith-based private school in Erskine. The Freedom Christian Academy, which is planning to open this fall, is hosting a Breakfast on the Farm fundraiser this Saturday, June 11th from 7am until 11am at the Hill Top Ranch north of McIntosh. Holly Breckel, Freedom Christian Academy founder, welcomes everyone to her farm for pancakes and all the fixings, plus music, special guest speakers, and more.
Bo Buehler has been hired on as the Dean of Students and a teacher at the new Freedom Christian Academy. As far as how things are progressing, Buehler says they continue to gain interest from area families and are working on finalizing curriculum for this fall.
The Freedom Christian Academy will be based out of the former Erskine School, which hasn’t seen students in the building in decades. They opened the doors to the public to get a glimpse of the renovations during this last week’s Erskine Water Carnival and Buehler says they got a lot of positive feedback.
Visit Freedom Christian Academy on Facebook to see photos of the renovation or to learn more about the school.
