Glyndon City Council Meets
GLYNDON, MN—“The City made an error.” Those words from Glyndon Mayor Tracy Tollefson at Wednesday’s Glyndon City Council meeting about removing a monument. The monument was a plaque remembering former Glyndon fire fighter Dennis Fox. Tollefson picks up the story.
The plaque now is with Fox’s surviving son, Kent, and Tollefson says the family will decide what to do with the monument.
Also at Wednesday’s meeting, the Glyndon City Council passed on first reading an ordinance creating and enacting cannabis regulations. Tollefson says the ordinance restricts the use of cannabis and hemp-derived products in public places or public property.
