Gottenborg To Be New Barnesville Girls Basketball Coach

A long-time girls basketball coach in the area has found a new home.  According to the agenda for Monday’s Barnesville School Board meeting, Bill Gottenborg will be hired as new coach of the Trojans’ girls basketball team.  You’ll remember Gottenborg resigned as Hawley girls basketball coach last month after over 40 years…and also resigned his jobs as science teacher and community education director in Hawley.  

The Barnesville girls basketball coaching job became open when Ryan Bomstad resigned in May.
