Grief and Loss seminar coming up February 10th

(Deerwood, MN) — Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Chaplain Mark Henson and Manager of Bereavement Services at St Croix Hospice Deanna Bieniek will be hosting and presenting for a free Lunch and Learn seminar for Grief and Loss on Thursday, February 10th from 12-1:30pm at the Deerwood Auditorium.
Those attending will learn about the different types of griefs, the responses to grief, and receive helpful tools to navigate through their feelings. Other topics to be discussed will include that it’s okay to grieve even if the person has lived a long life, the unique grief that comes from a dementia diagnosis, and losing a loved one during a pandemic.
Boxed lunches will be provided in partnership with Cuyuna Area Connection. Tables will be spaced apart for social distancing and masks will be required when not eating. Space is limited and registration is required by calling KariLee Pietz at 218-545-5361.
