Hallett Center, Library reports at February 14th Crosby City Council meeting

(Crosby, MN) — The Crosby City Council meeting from February 14th yielded positive and forward thinking reports from the City Departments and their entities.
During the meeting The Hallett Community and general manager Katheryn Carpenter spoke about an upcoming fundraiser to refresh the North entrance.
Membership has also been seeing steady increases over the past few years.
Carpenter also mentioned that The Hallett Center is also seeing martial arts classes increasing to two classes per week and a possible partnership with Kinship Partners in Brainerd to issue day passes for their youth mentors to bring clients to the center.
Abby Smith from the Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library also reported that upcoming events will be connecting the book club this summer.
The Crosby City Council will next meet on Monday, February 28th at 6pm from the City Hall Council Chambers.
