Halstad City Council News & Notes
Halstad, MN — More news and notes from last week’s Halstad City Council meeting. The council in recent months had some discussions about a possible golf cart and UTV ordinance after getting a few complaints about misuse. However, Halstad Mayor Darin Johnson says most of the council felt that ordinance wasn’t necessary and issues that arise can be handled on a personal level.
The city council also held their annual audit review and Mayor Johnson notes that financially the city is doing fine and there were no major discrepancies.
And Johnson provides some updates on things happening at the Landmark building, otherwise known as the old high school.
The council also approved a lease agreement with Randy Wescott to hay their sewer treatment grounds.
