Halstad Wild Turkey Update

HALSTAD, MN—Here’s an update to a story R&J News has been following.  People around Halstad continue to feed wild turkeys…and Mayor Darin Johnson says the City Council is going to put a stop to it.

Johnson says there was going to be a first reading of the new ordinance at Monday’s City Council meeting, but the ordinance isn’t quite ready.

Johnson reminds you that wild turkeys are not domesticated animals and do cause damage to homes.
