Hawley, MN — Following the successful passage of the Hawley School District’s Middle School Referendum in November, the district is moving forward with the planning process for constructing the new Middle School. Hawley Elementary Principal Chris Ellingson says they have a busy meeting schedule over the next few months to finalize their needs of the new middle school building.

Ellingson reminds folks that the $53 million referendum included more than just a new middle school. Roughly 25% of that $53 million will be spent on educational space improvements, infrastructure needs, activities and athletics, and safety and security needs in both the High School and Elementary as well.
