Hillsboro City Commission May Meeting
Hillsboro, ND – The City Commission in Hillsboro met for their first meeting in May on Monday night, and Commission President Levi Reese was happy to report that the dike that protects property in the city held strong and the flooding Goose River didn’t go over the dike. The bigger piece of conversation during the meeting was needing to replace the manager of the city run pool this summer, which is leaving the commission searching for help.
For anyone interested in the pool manager position, contract Hillsboro City Hall.
Coming this summer, the Commission approved a street closure beginning June 1st for a weekly farmers market in Hillsboro.
The Hillsboro City Commission also discussed the City Wide Spring Clean up, coming the week of May 15th, more on that in future newscasts.
