Hillsboro City Commission News & Notes from February 22nd Meeting

Hillsboro, ND — Some news and notes from the most recent Hillsboro City Commission Meeting held on Tuesday, February 22nd. The commission spent some time discussing the results of a survey sent out to residents about what types of recreational interests they would like to see the city pursue in the future. Hillsboro Commission President Terry Sando says there was a lot of interest in a sledding hill and biking opportunities.

There was also some discussion about how to better get information out to citizens in the event of power outage or other emergency.

And the commission had a conversation about potentially upgrading their equipment to assist with snow removal efforts.

The proposed street paving project has been another hot topic for the city of Hillsboro. President Sando says they will be having a public meeting on March 22nd to continue to provide information to residents.
