Hillsboro City Commission News & Notes from February 8th Meeting
Hillsboro, ND — Some news and notes from this past week’s Hillsboro City Commission meeting held on Monday, February 7th at the Hillsboro Community Center. The commission got an update on the citywide street paving project from their engineers at AE2S. Hillsboro City Commission President Terry Sando says they continue to explore funding options for the project and gather feedback on how to proceed.
The commission also had some discussion this week regarding the pedestrian bridge project across I29.
Several snow removal topics were brought up at the meeting as well as the area continues to be hit with snow events on weekly basis, according to President Sando.
And President Sando shared some excellent news regarding their airport, which was selected for a major award recently.
