Hillsboro, ND — The Hillsboro City Commission held their 2nd regular monthly meeting on Monday, November 21st at the Main Street Community Center. At the meeting, the commission reviewed a draft of a proposed Procurement Policy. Hillsboro City Commission President Levi Reese says it will come in handy to prevent potential fraud and overspending.

Trailer parking and winter parking were again part of this week’s discussion as the city commission looks at updating and enforcing their ordinances.

A draft of the ordinance should be put together for next month’s meeting. The Hillsboro City Commission also approved a street closure for the HBA Christmas Carnival on December 11th, tabled a Public Works pickup quote, and agreed to send the H. Borough Mobile Home Park utility bill to collections.
