Hillsboro school board to search for counselor position

At Hillsboro Public Schools January board meeting, leadership voiced the need for a counselor position to help kids at the high school level. Superintendent Jon Dryburgh said the school will search for a candidate with 15+ years of counseling experience.

The board also approved pursuing options to bring back Drivers Ed for students through the school after it was absent for a few years.

The next Hillsboro School Board meeting will be Friday, February 13th.
