Hillsboro Schools Financial Picture Improves

HILLSBORO, ND—The Hillsboro School District’s financial picture is much brighter than it was two years ago.  You’ll remember at that time, the District was looking at a possible $20 million shortfall.  At the most recent Hillsboro School Board meeting, Superintendent Jon Dryburgh had much better news.

Dryburgh says school staff has been trying to keep an eye on spending, but there was an unexpected source of additional income.

Dryburgh says all in all, the Hillsboro School District is in a good financial position.
