Importance of sleep during the flu season
As students across the region start going back to school after Christmas break, illness will continue to spread across schools. Norman Mahnomen Public Health and School Nurse Tracy Johnson says that one thing that can help prevent the spread and infection of illness is getting an appropriate amount of sleep.
Johnson says that parents should also monitor screen time before bed in order to get a good enough sleep.
Johnson also says that you are able to train your brain into a healthy sleep routine and she shares how.
