International Crop Expo Returns to Alerus Center in Grand Forks this Wednesday & Thursday
Grand Forks, ND — The International Crop Expo gets underway this Wednesday and Thursday with seminars, keynote speakers, exhibitors for soybean, dry bean, small grains, and potato growers at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks. Keynote speakers for this year’s Crop Expo include the “SharkFarmer” Rob Sharkey, who will speak on Navigating Uncertainty, and Brian Carroll, the Director the Grand Farm, who will speak on at the AgTech ecosystem of the Grand Farm in Horace. Also throughout the two days there will be dozens of valuable educational seminars developed and presented by NDSU Extension and Minnesota Extension Services, according to Lionel Olson of the International Crop Expo Committee.
Olson adds that one of his favorite aspects of the Crop Expo is seeing the latest and greatest ag related products as part of the expo and visiting with the various vendors.
As is it always has, parking and admission to the Crop Expo is free. But one thing that has changed is the lunch option. Olson says they are bringing in some food trucks this year in an effort to keep attendees on the floor longer.
