International Falls Library Hosts “Get Your Ducks in a Row” Tuesday

Tuesday, the International Falls Public Library is hosting a free community workshop called “Get Your Ducks in a Row”. The workshop aims to help people with advance care planning. The event will be led by Kristin Parendo who is a lead elder law attorney with Justice North. Advance care planning is about making sure people around you know what quality of life means to you. What treatments would someone want or refuse if they aren’t able to make the decision themselves. It’s also important to have someone to act with power of attorney or make health care decisions. The workshop can help guide people through the process of these decisions. The workshop is from 2:30-4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
