Isle City Council holds first 2023 meeting; swears in new member, finalizes 2023 Budget

The Isle City Council met on Tuesday. The entire council was sworn in, even though there is only one new member, because the new term requires taking the oath of office again. A new vehicle for Public Works was authorized to replace one that has issues including holes in the floorboards. The replacement vehicle will probably come from the engineering firm the city uses, which turns over used vehicles. The Water Tower/Main/Sewer project is on schedule, but it’s an on-going project. 

The 2023 budget was finalized, and Mayor Frye explained the numbers:
