Itasca State Park wildflower forecast 

The State of Minnesota has a very rich wildflower scene, and fortunately for those in Northwest Minnesota, Itasca State Park is one of the best places in the state to see all that Minnesota has to offer. Itasca State Park Naturalist Connie Cox gives us a park wildflower forecast. 

Itasca State Park is also known for having a rich orchid scene, especially when it comes to flowers like the Lady Slipper, but Cox says those flowers won’t be blooming until late spring, and early summer. 

If you would like to learn more about Itasca State Parks wildflower scene, Cox says they will be holding wildflower centric events throughout the spring and summer, including one later this month.
