January is Radon Action Month

January is Radon Action Month, and people are reminded to make sure they are testing their homes for the deadly gas Radon. Kelsey Merkens of Norman Mahnomen Public Health explains what Radon is, and why it’s especially important to test it in Minnesota and North Dakota. 

The only way to test for Radon in your home is to test for it, and Merkens explains how you can do so, and how often you should do it.
