Jaques Art Center keeping busy with ‘Best in Show’ exhibit, upcoming summer classes

(Aitkin, MN) — The Jaques Art Center is keeping active this summer beyond their annual Golf Tournament next week with their annual “Best in Show” exhibition while preparing for a celebration of the Aitkin High School graduates of past and present.

We spoke to the Jaques’ Barden Heft about the Best in Show exhibit running off the success of the annual Juried Art Show.

Heft also mentioned in July the next show will feature artwork from Aitkin HS graduates from over the years, in accordance with the Aitkin All-Class Reunion in early August.

The Jaques Art Center will also open more art classes for the public to express their creative side.
