Kettle River man killed, Aitkin man injured in crash on Highway 210 near County Road 32

(Deerwood, MN) — A Kettle River man was killed and an Aitkin man suffered life threatening injuries when two vehicles collided on Highway 210 near Crow Wing County Road 32 on Saturday. 

According to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol, a 1995 Jeep Wrangler, driven by 17-year-old Sebastian Blondo of Kettle River, was traveling east on Highway 210 near County Road 32. A 2008 Lincoln MKX, driven by 75-year-old Curtis Watson of Aitkin, was heading west on Highway 210. The Jeep struck the Lincoln in the westbound lane of Highway 210.

Blondo was pronounced dead at the scene, Watson suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Saint Cloud via Life Link.

The State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office, the Deerwood Fire Department and the Ramsey County Medical Examiner.
