Lake Park-Audubon School District Putting In Extra Effort to Make Teachers & Staff Feel Welcome & Comfortable Ahead of School Year
Lake Park, MN — The Lake Park-Audubon School District is hosting a back-to-school open house today to help elementary and high school students get acquainted with their new teachers and class schedules, but they’ve also been doing their part to make sure new teachers and staff get acquainted to their new peers and feel comfortable in the district as well. Lake Park-Audubon Superintendent Dr. Tim Godfrey says last week they new had new teacher orientation, where they also paired new staff members up with tenured staff to help them along in their career at LPA.
Also earlier this week, Dr. Godfrey says all staff members at LPA went on retreat for team building and to help ensure that everyone, whether they teachers or bus drivers, knows that they are valued members of their team.
The Elementary Open House will run from 3-7pm and the High School Open House will run from 5-7pm tonight for students.
