Lake Park Parade of Trees Returns at New Location
Lake Park, MN — Despite their usual venue being lost to a fire this past year, the Lake Park Parade of Trees will continue at a new location and with extended viewing times. Now in its 17th year, the Lake Park Parade of Trees kicks off this Thursday night and continues through December 11th on select dates. The event will move to the corner of Highway 10 and County Hwy 5 after the American Legion was destroyed by fire earlier this year and proceeds from this year will go back to help them with their rebuilding efforts, according to Abby Anderson of the Lake Park Parade of Trees Committee.
This year’s Lake Park Parade of Trees will feature around 30 unique and creatively decorated Christmas trees, which are crafted by local businesses and organizations, according to Anderson.
Visitors will enjoy complimentary coffee, cider, and treats and can also purchase this year’s commemorative ornament at the event. You can take in the Lake Park Parade of Trees at the following times:
Thursday, November 24th from 4 to 8pm
Friday, November 25th from 10am to 7pm
Saturday, November 26th from 10am to 7pm
