Lakes Area Music Festival ‘The Warm Up’ recital on April 10th at Gichi-ziibi Center

(Brainerd, MN) — The Lakes Area Music Festival continues with the penultimate show in their Winter Series this Sunday, April 10th with a recital from the Gichi-Ziibi Center for the Arts in Brainerd with guitar, flute, viola, and harp.

The Warm Up: Music to Welcome Spring is being curated by LAMF artistic advisor Garrett McQueen with the program welcoming the change of season featuring a Piazoolo tango, Ferdinand Rebay’s Sonata for Viola and Guitar, and Sptehen’s Paulus’ Petite Suite for flute, viola, and harp, all begin performed by international guitar soloist Bokyung Byun and friends from the Minnesota Orchestra.

This concert is the seventh in the series of eight concerts to be presented live at the Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts through May, featuring favorite Lakes Area Music Festival artists and internationally acclaimed guest soloists.
