Law Enforcement Seize Fentanyl Pills and Meth in Drug Busts Last Week in Norman County

Twin Valley, MN — Norman County Law Enforcement officers arrested four individuals in two separate drugs busts in Twin Valley over the course of 24 hours last week resulting in the seizure of meth and dozens of fentanyl pills.

The first occurred on Wednesday, June 15th, when a Norman County Sheriff’s Deputy pulled over a vehicle being operated by Uriah Wade Leibel, age 39 of Mahnomen, who had a warrant out for his arrest. During the traffic stop, officers located eighty M30 pills, most of which tested positive for fentanyl. Liebl was charged Controlled Substance Crime in the Third Degree, a felony, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years.

 A passenger in the vehicle, 31-year-old Summer Leslie of Twin Valley, was arrested as well and charged with possession of Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree.

The next day on June 16th, the Pine to Prairie Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 300 Lincoln Ave in Twin Valley, which is also the listed home address for Leslie. The home was located adjacent to a school and playground. During the search warrant, officers discovered drug paraphernalia located in plain view all over the house as well as methamphetamine. Two individuals, 31-year-old Jennifer Jensen and 45-year-old Randy Munter of Twin Valley, were in the house as well as three minor children.

Both Jensen and Munter were charged Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a felony that carries a maximum sentence of 20 years, and Methamphetamine Related Crimes Involving Children, also a felony that carries a maximum sentence of five years.
