It was a tough end to an incredible season for the Littlefork–Big Falls Vikings, who fell 29–12 to Cook County in the Section 7 Championship Game — ending their playoff run just one step shy of state.

The Vikings wrap up their season with a strong 7–3 record, led by senior quarterback Jax Sullivan with 124 yards passing, one touchdown, and 37 yards rushing. Emet Erickson added 50 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Alex Davis and Joey Kennedy each contributed on the ground.

After the game, the seniors reflected on their journey and the mark they’ve left on Viking football.

Despite the heartbreak, it’s been a remarkable year for the LBF Vikings — a program rebuilt from the ground up, now back on the map and stronger than ever. The Littlefork–Big Falls Vikings — Section 7 runner-up, but champions in heart, spirit, and community.
