Leiting vs. Fertile Update

Here’s an update to a story R&J News has been following.  A motion hearing has been scheduled for April 24 in the case of Angie Leiting versus the City of Fertile, Fair Meadow Nursing Home and Fertile Mayor Dan Wilkens.  That motion hearing will cover motions for a dismissal of the case, a summary judgment in Leiting’s favor and a motion for a protective order preventing the City from enforcing a no trespass order forbidding Leiting from entering the Fair Meadow Nursing Home facilities and parking lot.

You’ll remember Leiting resigned under fire as Fair Meadow Nursing Home administrator last June.
