Local law enforcement officers to be dedicated into the North Dakota Fallen Peace Officer Memorial Highway
Coming up later today, local police officers who made the ultimate sacrifice protecting our communities will be dedicated to the North Dakota Fallen Peace Officer Memorial Highway. Norman County Sheriff Ben Fall says his Department will be participating in the dedication, and he tells us more about this memorial highway.
Fall says there will be multiple area law enforcement officers who will be honored today, including Norman County native Cody Holte, who was killed in the line of duty on May 27, 2020.
The North Dakota Peace Officer Memorial Highway was created by the North Dakota Legislature back in 2025, after the North Dakota state House unanimously passed the bill creating the highway.
