Last week, the Catholic Church was introduced to Pope Leo XIV, and both Catholics, and non Catholics across the globe are talking about what this may mean for the church moving forward, as well as the significance of this selection. During his sermon on Sunday, Norman County priest Fr. Raul Perez-Cobo talked about the significance of the Conclave that elected Pope Leo XIV.

Fr Perez-Cobo also talked about Pope Leo XIV, and the significance of him being chosen as the first American born Pope.

The name a Pope chooses is also significant, and Fr Perez-Cobo explains why, and what it could signal for the church under Pope Leo XIV.

Pope Leo XIV is the 267th person to serve as Pope of the Catholic Church, in its 2,000 plus year history.
