Long Lake Conservation Center update to Aitkin County Board meeting from February 8th

(Palisade, MN) — During the Aitkin County Board of Commissioners meeting from Tuesday, February 8th, Long Lake Conservation Center manager Dave McMillian gave an update about the latest activity and plans ahead for the year.

McMillian opened the talk about recent fundraisers and hitting their goals.

With the turnaround for the proper return to operations at the LLCC, McMillian gave credit to his staff in attracting groups to hold trips and take part in their programming.

The LLCC has gotten back into holding events including an Ojibwe Storytelling event at the end of February.
