Lund Lutheran Church to Host Annual Deer Hunters Supper in Gully
The Lund Lutheran Church community in Gully is preparing to welcome hunters, neighbors, and families for its annual Deer Hunters Supper on Saturday, November 7. Held at the Gully Community Center from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the longstanding local tradition offers attendees a warm, hearty meal and an evening of fellowship following opening day in the woods.
Guests can sit down to a classic meatball supper accompanied by mashed potatoes and gravy, assorted side dishes, traditional lefse, and homemade desserts. Suggested donations for the meal are set at $15 for adults (ages 13 and up) and $5 for children, while children under 5 can eat for free. For those on the move or preferring to dine at home, takeout meals will also be available by calling 218-268-4591.
Beyond the dinner table, the event will feature multiple activities and fundraising drawings throughout the evening. Attendees can try their luck in a meat raffle, browse a bake sale, bid on basket raffles, or take a chance on cash prizes of $100, $50, and $25. Organizers emphasize that everyone from avid hunters to visiting relatives and community friends are invited to share in the evening’s festivities.
