New CWD rules in effect for Minnesota Deer Rifle season 

CWD testing has been a big emphasis for the Minnesota DNR the past few deer rifle seasons, but this year testing will be dialed back for hunters in Northwest Minnesota. Minnesota DNR wildlife Supervisor Rob Baden talks more about these changes in CWD testing rules. 

While testing isn’t mandatory, Baden says you can still get your deer tested if you’d like.
