M State 20th Anniversary
Minnesota State Community and Technical College, better known as M State, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this week. M State combined the Detroit Lakes, Moorhead and Wadena campuses of the former Northwest Regional Technical College with the community college in Fergus Falls. M State President Carrie Brimhall tells us what M State is doing to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
There will be a tree planting ceremony at M State’s Detroit Lakes campus this Wednesday at noon at the Student Life Center. And there will be a tree planting ceremony at the Moorhead campus this Thursday at noon at the Oscar Bergos Center.
Brimhall also points out M State’s academic success—with being ranked in the Aspen Institute’s biennial list of top 150 community colleges in the US seven times.
Brimhall plans to attend all of the tree planting ceremonies this week and next.
