Mahnomen City Council Meeting

MAHNOMEN, MN—At Monday night’s Mahnomen City Council meeting, the Council approved the sale of a plot of land to a Bemidji-based company.  Mahnomen City Administrator Taylor Vonderhaar says that sale is leading to something that’s been rare in Mahnomen.

You heard right…the first new homes built in Mahnomen in ten years.  Vonderhaar was asked about the lack of new housing in Mahnomen.

Also at Monday’s meeting, the Mahnomen City Council approved six month evaluations for city employees…which Vonderhaar says will lead to those employees getting raises they deserve.
