Mahnomen Health Center House Bonding Tour
The Mahnomen Health Center had their second appearance on the Capital Investment Bonding Tour earlier today. During the tour members from the Minnesota House of Representatives Capital Investment Committee were given a tour by Mahnomen County Administrator CJ Holl and other hospital staff with the goal of receiving state funds to build a new hospital and assisted living facility right next to the current one.
After the tour we heard from Capital Investment Committee Chairman Rep. Fue Lee who gave his initial reaction to the tour and what stood out most during the tour.
Rep. Lee also gave his initial thoughts on the environment of the hospital and the people involved with its everyday operation. He also spoke on why investing in places like the Mahnomen Health Center is important.
Rep. Lee also gave a timeline of when we can expect to hear a decision on what tour locations will receive state funding.
We also had the chance to catch up with the Republican Lead of the Capital Investment Committee Rep. Dean Urdahl and hear his reaction to the tour.
This is the second bonding tour that has occurred at the Mahnomen Health Center this year. The first tour happened on August 17 with members of the Senate.
