Mahnomen School in need of more substitute teachers 

The Mahnomen School Board had discussions about their summer programming at their meeting earlier this week. Mahnomen Superintendent Andrea Simon says they will be making no major changes to the program, but are always looking for ways to improve. 

Like many area school districts, the Mahnomen School District is dealing with a shortage of substitute teachers, and Simon says the board is also exploring a potential partnership with Kelly Education. 

Quarter four is officially underway at the Mahnomen School, and Simon says she can’t believe that her first year as superintendent is almost over already.
