(McGregor, MN) — The McGregor School Board’s Special Session meeting from Monday, March 14th covered topics of the Achievement and Integration Plan and the District’s Head Lice Procedure from the High School Library. 

Elementary Principal and Superintendent Brad Johnson mentioned McGregor Schools did qualify once again to apply for the Achievement and Integration Plan for their Indigenous students.

The plan and application were approved by the Board with the funds being implemented for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 school years, if approved. Superintendent Johnson spoke on changes for the District’s Head Lice Procedure.

Johnson also gave an update on the goals and progress with the District’s Strategic Plan.

The School Board approved the retirement of Jack Brula, effective at the end of the 2021-22 school year. The McGregor School will meet again on Monday, March 28th at 6pm from the High School Library.
