(Minnesota) — The Minnesota Department of Health is expanding their program to provide Minnesotans with free COVID-19 at-home rapid testing through community-based organizations around the state.

MDH will be providing over 300,000 rapid antigen tests kits to local public health agencies, tribal health, food shelves, and COVID-19 Community Coordinators to provide for free to the communities they serve throughout February and March. Each kit contains two tests.

Minnesotans can get a COVID-19 test through walk-in or schedule an appointment for a test at one of the state’s free COVID-19 Community Testing Sites, order a test through the state’s free COVID-19 Test at Home program, or find a testing option near you through state’s Find Testing Locations map.

How Minnesotans can get their free shot by using the state’s Vaccine Locator Map to find vaccine providers near you and parents can also find a vaccine for their kids, check for vaccine appointments at www.vaccines.gov, contact your or your child’s primary health care provider of a local pharmacy, walk in or make an appointment at one of Minnesota’s COVID-19 Community Vaccination sites, or watch for vaccination being offered at schools or other community locations around Minnesota.
