Minnesota DNR Asking Hunters To Share Observations

The Minnesota DNR is asking deer hunters to share what they’re seeing in the field. Research scientist Tyler Obermoller says observations submitted by hunters help biologists track deer populations and other wildlife across the state.

Hunters can submit their observations through the Minnesota DNR website. Obermoller says reports from hunters help track a variety of species and identify changes in wildlife distribution around the state.

Obermoller says the survey provides valuable data alongside harvest results.

More info on the survey can be found on the DNR’s website.
