Earlier this year, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz released his proposed budget, which included another sizable cut to special education funding within the State of Minnesota, and School Districts across the state are pushing back against these cuts. Ada Borup West Superintendent Aaron Cook talks more about these proposed cuts, and the impact it could have on schools.

Cook says special education is a tough program to lose funding in, as it is an expensive program to operate, while also being important.

Cook was a guest on the Kaleidoscope Program, which airs weekdays at 9:00 AM on KRJB 106.5 FM.
