Minnesota Secretary of State Makes Stop in Ada
Ada, MN — Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon made a stop in Ada on Wednesday afternoon as part of his goal of visiting with community members in all of Minnesota’s 87 counties. Simon says the objective of his visits is to get boots on the ground and learn from those outside of the capital.
Simon spoke with city and county leaders about the recent elections, but also asked about topics such as economic development, prior covid restrictions, and community needs. He notes that there were a lot of common themes in all the stops he’s made so far.
Locally and across the state, Secretary of State Simon noted once again that the always contentious election went off without any major problems.
Now a month after the busy election, Simon added that it was good to get out of the office and meet people.
The Minnesota Secretary of State also made a stop in Mahnomen on Wednesday as well.
