Minnesota State Fair Kicks Off Today

St. Paul, MN — The Minnesota State Fair gets underway today in St. Paul for the first of 12 days of the latest and greatest in food, beverage, attractions, exhibits, vendors and more. Roughly 2 million people will enter the gates between now and Labor Day.  With all those people, getting to the fair and finding parking can be intimidating, but State Fair Spokesperson Maria Hayden says there are many great and easy options for getting to the fairgrounds.

Along with sampling all the new foods and beverages, the Minnesota State Fair offers a great opportunity to do some shopping. Haydens say there are hundreds of vendors offering unique products, including several new ones this year as well.

And while there will be top notch grandstand entertainment every night of the fair, each day there are also countless opportunities to enjoy free live music and performances throughout the grounds.
