Mission Court Companions filling void in Ada Community 

The Benedictine Living Community-Ada Mission Court Companions program is approaching one year old, and the program has been filling a void in the Ada Community that was left after the closing of the Ada Senior Center over a decade ago. Cassie Visser of Benedictine Living Community – Ada tells us more about the community reception to the Mission Court Companion program. 

Benedictine resident Deloris “Honey” Olson is a regular at Mission Court Companion events, and she says the program has done a good job filling the void left by the closing of the senior center. She speaks more on the program’s importance to her and the rest of the residents. 

While she rarely went to the senior center when it was open, Esther Austinson says Mission Court Companions has been great for her, especially when it comes to socializing with her friends, and other residents. 

Visser also gives us a preview of March’s event, and encourages the community to come and visit with the residents.
