MN High School Volleyball – Borderland Battle 2025 (Int’l Falls @ L-BF)
It was rivalry night in Borderland as the International Falls Broncos and Littlefork-Big Falls Vikings faced off in the Borderland Battle. The Broncos swept the Vikings in three straight sets, 25-13, 25-15, and 25-14.
Neva Kokesh powered the offense with six kills and five aces, while Hadley Whitbeck sealed the win with the final point of the night.
For the Vikings, senior leader Jessica Holte stood tall at the net with five kills and a block.
Both sides praised the energy in the gym. For Falls, Kokesh said the student section made all the difference.
And for the Vikings, the night was about more than volleyball — it was about celebrating the senior class.
In the end, it was the Broncos taking the sweep, but both teams left the gym with plenty of momentum — and memories — as the Broncos play in the Mesabi East tournament tomorrow.
