MnDOT hosting meet-and-greets, asking feedback on Highway 210 – Brainerd project

(Brainerd, MN) — The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be hosting a pair of open house meet-and-greets on Wednesday, August 31st to get more feedback on the improvements and shape of the future vision of Highway 210.

Business owners along Highway 210 can meet with MnDOT staff and provide feedback 7:30-9am with a presentation at the beginning from the Brainerd Lakes Chamber of Commerce at 224 West Washington Street in Brainerd. Seating is limited and meeting virtually via Zoom can be done by emailing colleen@brainerdlakeschamber.com to reserve your spot or get the Zoom link.

A public meeting will be held 4:30-6:30pm with a presentation at 5pm from the Crow Wing County Land Services Building at 322 Laurel Street in Brainerd on the Lower Level. Individuals will be able to walk around and visit with the project team after the presentation. Design layouts and project boards will be on display throughout the meeting room.

The scope of the project, scheduled for 2026-2027, will improve Highway 210/Washington Street from Baxter Drive to Pine Shores Road. Work will include the installation of roundabouts, resurfacing the road, updating signal systems, and upgrading city utilities.
